Flood Risk Regulations
The National Flood and Coastal Erosion Risk Management Strategy for England, Glossary, published by the Environment Agency in 2020, defines the Flood Risk Regulations (2009) as: ‘Regulations which transpose the European Floods Directive (2007) into UK law. The aim of the regulations is to reduce the likelihood and consequence of flooding.’
